On this issue, Obama can, will and must win, for all of our sakes. Also for the sake of economic development of many impoverished global populations (via a new "Marshall Plan" in certain regions). And also for the sake of civilization preservation. Our civilization, as Gore reminds us, is at risk of being wiped out from the consequences of global warming. It is an inter-related system and Obama understands that very profoundly. There will be challenges as we rebuild the economic base, but job creation can help bridge those issues as we move ourselves, and the planet, off of oil dependence. Take the Apollo example as a reminder from our space heritage. Apollo enabled job creation all over the country, but really, built the economic base of the New South. The very American South that is at risk now from extreme weather and hurricanes. Thanks for posting your series and call to action, Andrew.
